HealthManagement.org is proud to welcome Prof Hacer Özgen Narci as our new Executive Editorial Board Member.
Prof Hacer Özgen Narci is a faculty member at Istinye University for the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Department of Health Management since 2020.
Dr Özgen Narcı received her Associate Professor title in 2006 in the field of "Management and Organization".
She helped prepare Turkey’s first National Health Accounts alongside Harvard University faculty members and carried out the first study on informal out-of-pocket health expenditures in Turkey. She has worked on many national and international research projects under the sponsorship of TUBITAK, Ministry of Health and Turkish Statistical Institute, contributing as an executive, researcher and consultant.
In the last 20 years, she has delivered training and thesis advisory at national and international platforms and courses at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
After retiring from Hacettepe University in 2012, Dr Özgen Narcı worked in the Department of Health Management at Acıbadem University, Istanbul Medipol University and Duquesne University. Dr Özgen Narcı now works in various administrative positions as coordinator, PhD Programme in Health Management at Istinye University.
