Former White House Physician Joins Experity to Lead Company’s Clinical Initiatives


Experity, the national leader in on-demand healthcare solutions, has appointed Dr. Benjamin Barlow as Chief Medical Officer. In this role, Dr. Barlow’s clinical expertise will help accelerate Experity’s growth and impact within the on-demand healthcare industry.

Dr. Barlow joins Experity after serving as the CMO at American Family Care, the nation’s largest urgent care provider. At the start of his career, Dr. Barlow served as a physician in the United States Air Force for a decade in various capacities, most notably as Emergency Room Medical Director at Langley Air Force Base. Previously, Dr. Barlow served as a member of the White House Medical Unit, where he provided healthcare services to the First Families under the administrations of Presidents Barack Obama, and Donald J. Trump. His role then evolved into Senior White House Physician, where he spent two years traveling around the world to more than 50 foreign cities to evaluate hospitals in preparation for presidential visits.

Dr. Barlow attended Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Emergency Medicine Residency at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, leading to his Board Certification in Emergency Medicine. His service to the country and his contributions to the medical field at large have earned him several accolades, including the Veteran of Influence Award, and the Rising Star in Urgent Care Award.
