Cross-Border eHealth Experiment in the Danube eRegion

A major cross-border experimenting effort has been launched in Slovenia concerning ICT-based healthcare and related disciplines in the Danube eRegion.

This was experiment was agreed on the 6th of March at a meeting of Healthcare Institution Directors and Informatics Heads and Directors, IT Providers in the University Medical Centre Ljubljana. The meeting is a component of the Inter-Municipality Initiative: Cross-border eCollaboration in the Danube eRegion.

During the meeting, Mr Simon Vrhunec, M.Sc., Director, University Medical Centre Ljubljana was appointed the head of a group launching a major cross-border experimenting effort in the ICT- based healthcare and related disciplines in the Danube eRegion.
