Sectra Wins Contract for Imaging IT in london Hospital
The medical imaging IT company, Sectra has been awarded a 10 year contract from the Whittington Health NHS Trust to supply medical imaging IT systems.

Sectra’s solution will facilitate a more efficient image and information-management workflow within the hospital, and make images and information available to authorised radiologists and referring physicians at hospitals in other trusts when required.

The contract comprises a complete IT solution for the management of radiology images and patient information (Sectra RIS/PACS), including region-wide access to images and information independent of RIS/PACS based on the IHE-standard XDS. It also includes Sectra Open Archive, a cost-efficient solution for long-term storage of images. It connects any DICOM-compliant image storage system, thus providing the infrastructure for efficient workflows across enterprises.
