Rogan-Delft has announced the successful installation of its Zillion PACS at the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, Nigeria.

The Federal Medical Centre at Gombe is a 300-bed tertiary health institution established in 1996 by the Federal Government.

"We are very pleased with our first Nigerian installation", Mr. Guido Geerts, Rogan-Delft’s Managing Director said. "For us Nigeria is a country of immense strategic importance given its huge potential, influence, and emerging role in sub-Sahara Africa. Currently we have an installed base in excess of 50 RIS and PACS systems in countries such as Ghana, Cote d’Ivore, Burkina Faso, The Gambia, Rwanda and many more. This new and very welcomed addition to our client base demonstrates that our technology is reliable, well recognized and received on the continent in general. The stability of our Zillion PACS and the teleradiology options we provide also make our systems especially suited for remote self-contained locations."

The Zillion PACS system is brought to the Nigerian market by Jajuwa Imaging Systems Ltd, whose stated objective is to bring new technology and telemedicine to rural areas of Nigeria.
