Acute catheter based stroke interventions have been proven to be superior to systemic lysis in a number of randomized trials. With a number needed to treat (NNT) of only 2, acute stroke interventions are extremely efficient. Up to 20% of acute strokes can and should be treated with catheter techniques, but there are not enough interventionists capable of performing these procedures outside of large stroke centers. We want to change this by educating interventionists from different specialties about catheter-based stroke interventions.

In our yearly conference, you can learn how to remove clots from the brain and make a real difference in the life of your patients. There is no other catheter intervention you can perform with such a huge impact! ICCA Stroke is a two-day interdisciplinary and interactive course with the lectures from leading experts in the field, live and recorded cases, step by step presentations, debates and hands-on simulator workshops. You will be guided through the different aspects of stroke treatment and carotid stenting: patient selection, imaging, indication, how to do it, post-procedural care as well as avoiding and managing complications.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend the conference, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to the congress organization team via email or fax. Our refund policy is outlined below:

– 75% refund of registration fees for cancellations received no less than 90 calendar days prior to the conference start date
– 50% refund of registration fees for cancellations received no less than 30 calendar days prior to the conference start date
– Cancellations received less than 30 calendar days prior to the conference start date or no-shows will not be refunded

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel (additional hotel reservation cancellation fees may apply).

Substitution Policy
We would welcome substitute attendees in your place at no additional charge. Please submit your substitution request with the name, title, institution, and contact email for both the registrant and replacement via email no less than 48 hours prior to the conference start date.
