What does it even mean to “solve” cancer? And what are the best ways to move toward that goal? This is what our Global Policy Lab: Decoding Cancer project has been trying to understand over the course of six months. We’re ending this project with a half-day event in Brussels to explore some of the most salient issues that we’ve come across.
POLITICO’s Global Policy Lab: Decoding Cancer, presented by Pfizer Oncology and IBM Watson Health, is a collaborative journalism project seeking to explore how patients, communities, policymakers and the private sectors are grappling with one of Europe’s most pressing health challenges. Started on October 4, this 20-week lab has tackled three different facets of the future of cancer policy: Research, Treatment and Long-term care.
