QMED is the main brand name of Qatar's International Medical and Health Exhibition, jointly organised by local Doha based Sogha Exhibitions and Conferences along with London based ExCo Media. The event will be held at the brand new, world-class and prestigious Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) located in the centre of Doha, West Bay area. Due to the large nature of the global Medical and Health industry, the QMED Exhibition has been split into ten (10) parts in order to make exhibitor participation, sponsorship, conference topics and visitor attendance structured and more accurate. These areas of Medical and Health have been created based on the local and regional needs of Qatar and the Middle East, respectively.

The Brand New Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre (DECC)

The brand new Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre (DECC) was officially opened in October 2015! It is destined to become an important regional and international exhibition location, with an expansive retail area dedicated to luxury brands and exhibition space. With parking for nearly 5,000 vehicles and a multi-function hall, the Convention Centre spans an area of 90,000 sqm. Located in the lively West Bay area of Doha, the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre will be connected to the Sheraton Park through an underground tunnel that will bring visitors to the naturally crescent-shaped Doha Corniche. DECC has five big halls that are column-free with a combined area of more than 32,000 sqm and a height of 18 meters. These pillar-free halls will enable exhibitors to freely and safely take in heavy and large equipment and machines if required. The vast spaces are enough to accommodate around 3,500 visitors at a time.
