ICARE 2023 - 77th National Congress SIAARTI

This congress aims to be an opportunity for growth and dialogue for all anesthesiologists and perioperative physicians, for all Italian resuscitators and intensivists, and for all healthcare professionals who make emergency and urgent care, as well as the treatment of pain and suffering, their raison d'être. In this regard, this year as well, the Congress Committee has selected a program of high scientific value developed into "Learning Tracks" to allow all participants to meet and listen to experts from both national and international backgrounds, even from other disciplines, to discuss guidelines, best practices, and future goals of medicine.

The strength of this congress is undoubtedly the Faculty, which, for 2023, stands out for the presence of Italian excellence and has seen a significant increase in the contribution and participation of international experts in all specific areas of the discipline, in line with the mission of our society. Among the many innovations in this edition is also the "ICARE HOSPITAL" ESCAPE ROOM, a fantastic simulation activity that will allow participants to train to improve the quality of care and ensure patient safety in critical settings. In addition to the international aspect and the innovation of simulation, SIAARTI has also decided this year to promote regional debate. In fact, within the congress area, there will once again be a "Village of the Regions" dedicated to the debate and discussion among the various Italian healthcare realities, with the aim of increasingly standardizing national standards and the quality of care, which are currently too diverse.

The results of the regional debates will offer SIAARTI important insights to identify strategies for improvement and correction in terms of continuous training and clinical research, to be shared with the Institutions, with which the society is pleased to actively collaborate in order to improve our Healthcare System.
