16th Panhellenic Congress of Nuclear Medicine

Colleagues,

On behalf of the Hellenic Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, I have the honor and pleasure to invite you to the 16th Panhellenic Congress of Nuclear Medicine, which will take place from May 11 – 14, 2023 at the Conference Center of the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Thraki Hotel in Alexandroupolis.

The Conference was held under the auspices of the Democritus University of Thrace, the Hellenic Atomic Energy Commission, the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the Municipality of Alexandroupoli and the Medical Associations of Evros, Rhodope and Xanthi.

The Conference is an important institution where the possibility of meeting Nuclear Doctors and collaborating scientists of various specialties is offered, for the exchange of opinions on the scientific issues that concern us in our daily clinical practice. With the participation of the students of the School of Medicine, it will be an important school in the education of our future colleagues.

The development of new drugs, hybrid imaging systems and the application of new techniques create a challenging environment that expands the diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of Nuclear Medicine.
The purpose of the conference is to highlight the diagnostic and therapeutic applications of Nuclear Medicine, with an emphasis on cutting-edge applications, which will play an important role in the further development and evolution of the specialty, while at the same time provoking a fruitful scientific dialogue between scientists.

The Panhellenic conference is the basis both for the promotion of scientific knowledge and fruitful ideas, as well as the opportunity to meet the old and get to know the new members of our specialty.

We invite you to take part in this effort and look forward to your active participation, while we in turn will make sure that you enjoy the welcoming Alexandroupolis, the beautiful Evros and Thrace.
