Paygrade: N/ Salary Range: $74,758.74 to $78,955.29

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides outstanding customer service. Maintains HIPAA standards related to Privacy and Security and provides exceptional customer service.
  • Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff including professional clinical staff
  • Manages Ellenton Farmworker program and follows federal guidelines related to budgets, expenditures, program delivery, etc.
  • Operates under a written nurse protocol agreement with a delegating physician, conducts complete physicals, provides treatment, and counsels clients.
  • May provide clinical services on Mobile Unit at times.
  • May participate in health fairs, serve on committees, make presentations, and respond to disasters. This position may work some evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing, public health or related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of nursing experience AND current Georgia Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified OR Bachelor's degree nursing from an accredited college or university AND Five years of nursing experience AND current Georgia Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified OR Three years of experience at the lower level PH Nursing Prog Consultant 2 (HCP211) or position equivalent AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified. (Please mail or bring a copy of your College Transcript or Diploma to the Interview—you must have an official transcript prior to the start date). This position requires the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and the ability to bend and reach up.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous employment with any state’s Department of Public Health or a County Board of Health.
  • Experience with performing physical exams on males and females, including genitalia.
  • Prenatal Care experience.
  • Experience working with migrant populations.
  • Screening and testing for STD’s and providing appropriate treatment and education.

This position may require driving company vehicles (Valid driver’s license required) and working some evenings and weekends during special events such as health fairs and responding to disasters.
