Medical Office Receptionist

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Medical Office Receptionist

Work location: 7612 Main Street The Colony, Texas 75056

Work environment: Family Care

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday, (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Here’s What You Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • Six months of Healthcare experience in a clinical setting, or Customer Service experience in a clinical setting or office environment (PREFERRED)
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English (PREFERRED)

What You Will Do

  • Perform a variety of general administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process and perform routine duties within the clinic
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
  • Schedule appointments according to office guidelines
  • Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductible amounts
  • Prepare charts for patients’ appointments making sure all necessary information is complete
