Mon-Thu Eve £85ph
Overnight £90ph
Friday Eve £100ph inc overnight
Sat & Sun til 6.30pm £90ph
Sat & Sun 6.30pm - 8am £100p

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a fully participative member of the BCUHB. As part of the Out of
Hours Teams, duties will include consultations by phone (including triaging of
calls),treatment centre appointments and home visits and any administration associated
with patient care. The post holder will be expected to develop and support the
dissemination of best practice which would include the delivery of staff training for other
disciplines within the service. The post holder will assist the Medical Advisor in ensuring
Clinical Governance is fully embedded in the work of the team

Clinical
To provide Out of Hours Emergency and urgent primary care to the residents and
visitors to North Wales, working with other team members to a high quality
To respond to medical problems presented by patients, by means of history taking,
examination, investigation where appropriate, diagnosis, treatment and referral as
needed.
To be part of a team that delivers care as appropriate and when necessary to
community hospitals.

Essential criteria
- GMC Registration
- JCPTGP Cert
- Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of the clinical and developing agenda
- Knowledge of forthcoming NSF's and NICE guidance and technology Appraisals
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience in General Practice
- Competent in the provision of medical services
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working out of hours
Aptitude And Abilities

- Must be able to manage workload and prioritise calls
