After two years of hosting virtual conferences for the graduate medical education (GME) community, the ACGME is pleased to gather again in person in 2023! Planning efforts are underway to make the 2023 Annual Educational Conference a safe and fun event for all. The conference will take place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.

Over the course of three days, the conference will welcome attendees from across GME, which will encourage opportunities to engage and connect with colleagues through educational sessions and exciting activities! Registration will open later this year.

BUILDING CONNECTIONS

The Annual Educational Conference brings together the top academic medicine leaders and representatives to facilitate valuable professional networking, making the experience a great opportunity to engage with GME peers and colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds. The Annual Educational Conference offers several means for attendees to build their professional network and engage and connect. The ACGME Annual Educational Conference is the largest GME conference in the world, providing an occasion to engage with thousands of like-minded peers from across the globe.

THE VALUE OF IN-PERSON LEARNING

There are several benefits to returning to an in-person #ACGME2023 learning experience! Not only do the educational sessions promote engagement and peer interaction that accommodate different learning styles, but the in-person venue also allows for deeper and more meaningful instruction. Being able to connect face-to-face gives learners and educators a greater opportunity to develop relationships and gain new perspectives. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND
CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME)

Attending #ACGME2023 will foster professional growth, while also identifying potential pathways for advancing one’s career in GME. Educational sessions are designed to facilitate development, spark innovation, and discover opportunities for meeting professional goals. Additionally, CME credit (physician attendees) and/or a Certificate of Completion (non-physician attendees) are included in conference registration for no additional fee.

A WEALTH OF CONTENT

The Annual Educational Conference offers a wide selection of stimulating content, with numerous options for both first-time and seasoned attendees. More than 100 educational and interactive sessions will be presented by ACGME leaders and staff members, and by members of the broad GME community.

ACTIVITIES

Outside of educational content, the ACGME offers several engaging activities that include wellness and well-being sessions, mentor/mentee connections, philanthropic and family-friendly opportunities, and more! Conference engagement also includes the ACGME Hub, where attendees can meet and network directly with ACGME staff members from different departments and teams.
