Chairperson of Department Ege University School of Medicine Izmir, Turkey — Having ultrasonography as the main interest in his professional life since the 1990s, Prof. Dr. S .Süreyya Özbek directed the ultrasonography unit at the Department of Radiology in Ege University School of Medicine, and currently is the chairperson of the same Department. He is the former president of the Society of Medical Ultrasonography (Turkey) and the Turkish Board of Radiology.
