Jason Zachariah named EVP, Chief Operating Officer and Aaron Lewis named EVP, Growth and Integrated Solutions
LifePoint Health®, a diversified healthcare delivery network dedicated to its mission of Making Communities Healthier® announced that two of the organization’s current leaders have been promoted to new executive leadership roles within the company. Jason Zachariah has been named executive vice president (EVP), chief operating officer (COO), and Aaron Lewis has been named EVP, growth and integrated solutions. These appointments follow the retirement of Victor Giovanetti, who most recently served as president, hospital operations and has been with LifePoint for 9 years.

Victor was a fierce advocate for quality patient care and compliance, and I know that mantle will be carried forward by Jason and Aaron as they take LifePoint into the future.”
Zachariah most recently served as president, integrated solutions, a role in which he led rehabilitation and behavioral health operations, joint venture services, physician services, information technology, marketing, business transformation and development initiatives. In his new role, he will lead operations for the company’s key lines of business, including acute care hospital operations, rehabilitation and behavioral health operations, quality and clinical services and integrated revenue management.
Zachariah joined LifePoint in 2021 from Kindred Healthcare, where he served as president and COO. Prior to that, he served as president of Kindred’s rehabilitation services and in various roles in the company’s hospital division, including as COO and executive director for the division’s California/Arizona district. During his tenure with Kindred, he drove a culture of patient advocacy, quality outcomes, employee engagement and operational efficiency, and demonstrated a passion for innovation, care enhancement and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Zachariah earned his MBA with Distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from Northwestern and a bachelor’s degree with distinction in biology and a chemistry minor from Duke University.

Lewis most recently served as senior vice president (SVP), care continuum and business transformation. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing physician services, growth and outreach and business transformation, and directing organic growth opportunities and strategic partnerships across LifePoint’s communities. He also plays a key role in the company’s innovation strategy, LifePoint Forward. In his new role, Lewis will maintain his current responsibilities, adding leadership of integrated solutions functions, including marketing, development, innovation and information technology.
Before joining LifePoint Health in 2018 as SVP, physician enterprise and strategic growth, Lewis was SVP of strategic growth for RCCH HealthCare Partners. Prior to that, he served RCCH as vice president, operations and strategic alignments. He also held other operational and development roles in healthcare, after beginning his career in investment banking. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
