Dr Nick
Guldemond has recently been appointed as Professor Public Health and Healthcare
at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. As of January 2020, he also
serves part-time as a Senior Researcher at Leiden University Medical Centre.
His background covers
Electric Engineering, Medicine, and Life Sciences. He obtained his PhD in
Orthopaedics in 2010 from the University Maastricht, focusing on diabetic foot
complications.
As CEO & Founder
of the Maastricht University Hospital Medical Field Lab, he obtained many
prestigious research grants. He is active in numerous eHealth programmes:
China, UK, Russian Federation, Italy, Norway, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Brazil,
Iran, Finland, Romania and the U.S., often in collaboration with Pharma (Roche,
Genzyme, J&J, Grunenthal), Medtech (Philips, MEDTRONIC, COCIR), Health IT
(Microsoft, Ascom, Ortec, Vodafone), and finance (Rabobank, Natwest, RBS)
industries.
