Advantech, a leading medical computing platform service and solution provider plans to showcase its latest medical IT hardware solutions at MEDICA 2016 (Hall 15/Booth E30), which will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, on November 14 – 17, 2016. Advantech will demonstrate its application-ready packages (ARPs) and product portfolios aimed at specific applications, including integrated operating rooms, critical care, intelligent wards, and self-service systems. The demonstrations featured will be divided into the following four categories:
Digital Operating Rooms and Telehealth
Solutions
For this category, Advantech will display its latest video streaming solutions for operating rooms and its telemedicine carts. The combination of high-performance computers, high-quality image displays, low-latency image processing box PCs, and table PCs that are all medically certified for use in operating rooms provides the ideal solution for telehealth applications such as surgical consultations and demonstrations.
Critical Care
Advantech will showcase its 15” to 24” medical-grade computers, including one system equipped with the latest 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i processor and IEC 60601-1 Edition 3.1/IEC 60601-1-2 Edition 4.0 certifications. When integrated with vital sign measurement devices, these units provide easy-to-clean high-performance computing devices that facilitate vital sign monitoring in critical environments.
Intelligent Wards and Closed Loop
Medication Administration
For enabling quality nursing care, Advantech will showcase three product portfolios that comprise patient information terminals for maintaining electronic medical records, medical carts and e-medication boxes for facilitating closed loop medication administration (CLMA), and tablet PCs in various sizes for delivering mobile nursing care.
Self Service Systems
Advantech’s all-in-one touch computers are ideal for applications in hospital public spaces and other healthcare facilities. Together with its local partners, Advantech will showcase various wayfinding, and blood pressure monitoring self-service kiosk solutions.

Kostec and SigmaXG, expert providers of medical displays and video-over-IP
solutions, respectively, to provide video streaming solutions for operating

These partner collaborations include 3D Berlinfor wayfinding solutions, Alphatron for CLMA solutions, BeWell Innovations for blood pressure monitoring kiosks, ClinicAll for electronic medical records solutions, Fora for vital sign monitoring solutions, Mobitrace for mobile nursing care solutions, New Compliance for operating room cockpit solution, and Swymed for tele-health solution (partners are listed alphabetically).
