Activities

Each participant may choose 1 activity for Tuesday afternoon. We will reach out closer to the meeting date to get your selection.

Electric Bike Tour

Coronado Island is extremely flat, which is well suited for all fitness levels. The guided tour will point out interesting sites on the island including the Coronado Bridge and Hotel Del Coronado. This scenic bike ride is a great way to see the island and get some exercise in as well. The tour will begin and end at the Marriott Resort.

Golf

Opened in 1957, the 18-hole Coronado Golf Course is rated as one of the best public golf courses in the nation. The course is nested in the serene, upscale island beach community of Coronado, just 5 minutes from the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa. Immaculate greens, wide inviting fairways and dramatic views make Coronado a must-play for golfers.

Kayak Trip

Spend an exciting day of adventure and exploration kayaking in one of the many San Diego County breathtaking ocean water areas — Coronado. If you’ve ever wanted to try sea kayaking or just want to enjoy the thrill once again, this is the experience for you! We’ll have guests in the water right from the start, teaching as we go, to give them as much kayaking experience as possible. The tour will begin and end at the Marriott Resort.

Spa

Treat yourself to tranquility at The Spa at Coronado Island, the Marriott’s beautiful 5,500 square foot luxury spa facility featuring 11 treatment rooms, outdoor spa garden, steam rooms and more. Select your choice of: Signature Frangipani Swedish Massage (50 minutes), Signature Marine Dream Facial (50 minutes), or the Coronado Island Signature Manicure & Pedicure (100 minutes).

Visit to the San Diego Zoo

This world-famous zoo has been the gem of San Diego for more than 90 years. Starting as a small collection of animals, the zoo has grown into a sanctuary for more than 4,000 birds, mammals and reptiles housed in enclosures that closely simulate their national environments. The 100-acre facility is also a lush botanical garden that houses more than 6,500 plant species. Enjoy the Skyfari Aerial Tram as well as animal shows and exhibits. Transportation to and from the zoo is provided.

On your own

Enjoy the Marriott resort amenities of swimming pool, lap pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, free weights, cardio equipment, fitness classes and bikes. Additionally, the beach is a short 5-minute Uber ride away and the hotel provides beach chairs to its guests. Round-trip Coronado ferry passes will be provided for those wanting to tour the downtown San Diego sights.
