Key dates:

  • Deadline for Abstract Submission: 5th June 2017
  • Start abstract evaluation by Programme Committee: Monday 5th June 2017
  • Notification of selection for an oral or a poster presentation: Friday 23rd June 2017

COST Action MYO-MRI's final conference is also the first international one in the field, gathering clinical neuromuscular experts, radiologists, physicists and computer vision specialists discussing muscular magnetic resonance as a tool for diagnosing neuromuscular diseases.

Young researchers and trainees are encouraged to attend and participate by submitting abstracts (to be presented during the sessions) and posters (eligible for poster awards).

The conference programme will feature internationally-recognised speakers including Andrew Blamire, Carsten Bonnemann, Pierre Carlier, Bruce Damon, Kieren Hollingsworth, Hermien Kan, Richard Lerski, Martin Meyerspeer, George Radda, Fritz Schick, Volker Straub, Gustav Strijkers, Giorgio Tasca, Krista Vandenborne and Felix Wehrli. The event will highlight developments and advances in all aspects of muscle imaging with sessions on diagnostic muscle imaging, new imaging techniques and quantitative muscle imaging.

Registration for the Imaging Conference in Berlin (19 – 21 November 2017) will be charged on a per person basis.

Early Registration (ends 5th June 2017)

  • MYO-MRI participant*: €0
  • Non-MYO-MRI participant: €200
  • Industry delegate: €350

Standard registration (6th June 2017 – 1st September 2017)

  • MYO-MRI participant*: €0
  • Non-MYO-MRI participant: €250
  • Industry delegate: €450

The cost per person registered will cover all costs associated with the meeting including, but not limited to, the provision of conference material, room hire, coffee breaks, lunches, poster sessions, the welcome reception and dinner.
