The European Federation for Medical Informatics Association (EFMI) has cancelled its Medical Informatics Europe congress scheduled to be held in Geneva in the spring.

 

The event, which was to take place from April 28 to May 1, was cancelled in the face of the COVID-19 spread and measures to contain the virus.

Scores of other healthcare congresses have been cancelled or postponed as part of COVID-19 preventive measures including HIMSS, ECR, The International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine and the World Patient Safety, Science & Technology Summit.
