Herzog has spent over 20 years in the pharmaceutical, medical technology and ICT industries and is a specialist in e - and mHealth. He joined HIMSS in November 2012 as Director of HIMSS Europe and became Managing Director in December 2013. He became General Manager for Austria, Germany and Switzerland for HIMSS Europe in October 2015. Rainer also independently consults for companies, including some digital health start-ups.
